Victor Castillo

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Victor was a Senior Commercial Loan Officer in Wells Fargo's Los Angeles Metro Division where he was responsible for identifying, acquiring, and growing business credit relationships. His duties included assessing each business' financial needs and proposing a customized package of financial products and services. Additionally, he analyzed, structured and negotiated complex secured and unsecured credit facilities; provided guidance and development to junior credit officers; and ensured that regulatory and operational compliance standards were consistently implemented and met. Victor started his banking career in 1992 at Wells Fargo, and he also worked at JP Morgan Chase and City National Bank. Victor graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BS in Information Systems and also received a Professional Designation in Applications Programming from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Stephen Watt

Chief Credit Officer & Co-Founder

Stephen was a Senior Regional Credit Officer in Wells Fargo's Los Angeles Metro Division where he was responsible for the credit quality of a large loan portfolio of commercial and industrial loans to business banking clients. His duties included approving all new customers over a minimum threshold, credit training of business development and relationship managers, decision making on work-out and restructure credits, and reporting to Division Management on portfolio quality. Stephen started his banking career in 1977 on Wall Street at Irving Trust Company, now The Bank of New York, where he received his formal credit training, followed by international division banking assignments in New York, Tokyo, and Los Angeles. Stephen graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in Japanese Studies, and received an MA in Economics from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, and an MA in Finance from the New York University Graduate School of Business.
